Too Good for Practice

August 1, 2011

The Green Bay Packers might be worried about the shortened training camp, but Clay Matthews isn’t.

Matthews is one of the up and comers in the NFL, preperation doesn’t seem to effect him.  In his first two seasons, Matthews has missed much of training camp and most of the pre-season games.  But Matthews continues to impress becoming arguably the best linebacker in the game today.  This shortened pre-season shouldn’t effect him much by now.  He knows the team, the schemes, and he knows that everyone is worried about him but still can’t find ways to stop him.  Matthews has totaled 23.5 sacks over the last two seasons.
